Depending on actual condition, anywhere between £5000 and £25000?

problem is as we all know, it's very difficult (read: impossible) to give a true valuation without seeing the car.
It's easy to look at a photo which can hide a lot of gremlins and hidden secrets without properly look at the car, lifting up carpet, removing boot carpet, looking underneath, listening to the engine etc etc.
If it's as good as it looks in the photo, then anything up to £20k is possible and sometimes more in the crazy classic car market that we seemed to have at the moment.

But, if closer inspection reveals that the car has had poor repairs, (sometimes this often goes unknown to the current owners who buy cars with rose tinted spectacles), rust issues, knocking engine, misfire, etc etc, then you may be looking at a hefty bill to get a car to a standard of one which is worth top dollar. Parts are hard to come by and even a few specific ur parts can add another 4 figures to the repair bill as I'm sure anyone who's restored one will tell you.
The figure given maybe vague but it's hard for anyone to give a true answer without properly inspecting the vehicle.

This car has been up for sale over in Ireland for a long long time for around £12k if I remember! It seems well priced (from the description and pics, which cannot accurately show us how good or bad it is!) but, surely, in that time, many people have viewed. So, why haven't they bought it?

Actually, here's the link!

Hope it's a good un for you!

I knew this guy John 20 years ago, into mk 1 and mk 2 rs escorts back then, and was very particular in what he bought, i would think his description of the car would be quite accurate, a sound guy to deal with back then

Any update on this car?
For sale ad is removed, I had seen it advertised and am curious if it sold and what condition it was in
