Default Power steering pump!

My pump has started to squeal like a little piggy and it sounds very much like a front bearing thatís starting to dry out/wear

Anybody know if these can be rebuilt?
I can buy new but if the old one strips and can be rebuilt then Iíd get much more fun from that

I remember Audi selling O-ring kits for them and buying reconditioned units, so yes, it must be possible to rebuild them.

I seem to recall a "How-to" on Phil Payne's site, with a comment specifically about using the right tool to undo the big cross headed bolts.
