Any maverick spark on plug 1 ? Out of curious interest, was the car hot before it was last switched off?

Assuming you've checked the primary and secondary windings when you say coil ok ?

Have you checked for 12v at + terminal ?

Have you checked coil neg for switching ?

Apart from checking the above my experience on UR ignition systems goes no further!

Default No Spark

Thanks guy's for the replies .
1. Yes coil checked and OK
2. yes temp was normal when switch off after a 25 mile run before a M.O.T the next day
( had to cancel re none start )
3. Will carry on looking for the fly wheel mark then on to the fly wheel pin etc.
Thanks again
Brecon P.S No maverick spark .

no maverick spark often indicates the ecu is not seeing the engine turning
