VW Heritage have a 357 721 401 in stock and its £36.60, could that be used?

I suppose it's too long for RHD

Possible replacement needing a modification is 358 721 388 available from VW heritage for the bargain price of £249 plus lube for bum rape.
I originally paid £57 inc vat for one of these oem cylinders in 02, so do tell VW heritage ripoff merchantz, how is that a valid price?
