Another left field thought... There's a 4x4 Skoda Yeti with a TT RS engine packing 500+ horsepower.

There's one around the corner from my house, it's VERY low!!! Falling in and out looks like it might hurt, I would suggest a good barrel roll!

Agreed the cut back looks a bit better, but still not for me I'm afraid. Are you planning on a purchase?

Barrel roll Good idea that !

Yep one or the other, the roadster isn't doing too well so far

So, i think the choice has changed now (unless a Brabus comes along that's too good to pass )

Now it's between a TT coupe or TT Roadster, both have to be semi auto (i like tiptronic ), both have to be quattro too, from looking hard at data, and figures the 225 has a 0-62 time of 5.7 seconds, not bad for a 1.8 turbo is it.

Lets have for and against opinions now

It'd be the coupe for me Bruce.

Last drop-top TT I was in rattled like a set of loose dentures!!

I'd be all for the 1.8T but make sure you get one that has been well looked after, I made the mistake of buying an A4 1.8Tq in 2009 that didn't have a full service history (to be fair they don't know what that is in Ireland, you're lucky to get the car!), had it 12 months or so and the turbo went bang due to the wrong type of oil being used prior to my ownership. Had to replace the engine in the finish and it was never quite the same car. Oh, and I'm a coupe all the way.

I know it's a strange question, but what would you choose ?

Pictures would be nice so I know what you are talking about

You know i can't do that

Maybe Geoff or Luke would put a photo of the Brabus roadster on, you already know what a TT looks like.
