Operation Daybreak was a great film Hentschel also wrote and performed the score for Educating Rita:

Recognised the 'Hideout' track as incidental music from The Sweeney, good to hear the whole thing.

It is The Sweeney that I know 'Hideout' from.

David Hentschel also played the ARP synth on 'Funeral For A Friend', composed the score for the excellent 1977 film, 'The Squeeze', and produced the Genesis albums from 1976-80.

This ones for you Bruce ,been too busy of late. You have read a couple of my stories over in the 80's Thread.Well they used to play this track at good clubs and i always thought it was an early 80's song until today. This was from the Cool and thr Gang Album Light of the World way back in 74. It sounded so modern in 83 that you would never have thought it was pratically 10 years old then. You cannot beat a bit of Electronic influenced music. 2 awesome tunes.

And to follow it up...... i have already listed it on the 80's music thread but what the heck!!!!

Persevere Bruce. You know the koo. You would never think this was 1970.A lot of funky music was way ahead of it's time. I was only 5. Tell you one thing though the seventies were a super cool time!! Bothe these tracks are from the same group. The second one 9 years later in 79 a massive tune and still being palyed in the clubs well into the eighties.
