1992 Audi 80 8CB4 2.0 £1550
1992 Audi 80 2.0 8CB4, just under 70,000 miles. 12 months MoT.
Usual spec: Electric front windows, remote rear view mirror adjustment. A very loud alarm. ABS etc £2000 spent on it over the past couple of years including a very recent clutch and cambelt change with all documents to back it up. The following will be included: The original steel wheels, Assorted spares in the shed, which I'll sort and list later, An electric polisher + some detailing liquids. Audi 80 1491 Haynes manual. On the downside, there's an intermittent squeak/light rattle at idle from somewhere in the cambelt area when the engine's hot. It disappears when the revs are increased slightly. The car had been parked up for a couple of years before I bought it in 2014 and, being red, it faded. Most of it has been restored by polishing and waxing but there are still blemishes. There's some dent damage in the rear offside wing area (not in my ownership) and some cretin keyed the offside doors a couple of years ago. There are stop-gap touch-up repairs to the areas. The boot lid needs a partial respray, as does a blemished spot on the bonnet. A coded Tornado Red aerosol and touch-up kit is included. The alloy wheels could do with a refurb. The driver's seat has a cover due to a worn side bolster but other than the things noted, the car's in good condition for its age. The heater blower only works on max. Resistors need replacing. There's a sun roof that I've never bothered opening and the ProCon safety system (which has never been put to use!) There are some MoT advisories, which you can see on the gov MoT checker. This would make a great restoration project for someone with a garage. £975.
