Best place to buy a cambelt kit for KV engine?
Changing the cambelt on the kv quattro type 85 and just wondering where to buy from?
Also looking for a new water pump too. |

I use Autodoc. Loads of choice, brilliant prices. Only drawback is £8 postage (and slow postage as shipped from Germany) if the order is under £140-odd quid but you'll save the £8 as prices are so low. Discount % varies daily. Well worth downloading the app (or visit their website) and having a look. You get better prices using the app.
Just bought a Continental cam belt and SKF water pump and idler pulley. They didn't stock a kit that I fancied for the 90 20v so selected the parts individually. There were lots of other choices of manufacturer for belts, pulleys and pumps covering all budgets. |

Another vote for Autodoc. The choice and value really is great if you can wait a couple of weeks. If not, I've found Parts in Motion very quick and also pretty decent value, they list on eBay but also have their own website.

Cheers guys!
I presume the b2 2.2L coupe GT has the exact same cambelt kit and water pump? I ask because some sites don't recognise the CQ as a 'match' . |

re Autodoc
What sort of import fees and taxes are people getting asked for? Is it every parcel is 20% VAT and a handling fee? I stopped ordering from the EU after Brexit for this reason.

I've used autodoc regularly post Brexit and the taxes are all factored in
