The guy who is selling it is a dealer.

According to the inspection I had done, pre purchase, there were several signs that there had been quite a bad front end smash as several parts of the structure had been replaced. It has to be said though that this would have been a long time ago now. I also had a lot of engine work done including welding to the head and parts of the floor pan replaced.
I'd be surprised though if there are many cars which don't have a story to tell but I'd probably be looking for a car with slightly less.
