RIP Sir Roger Moore
Just had a quick look at the news on my phone and found the very sad news that Roger Moore had passed away, he was the James Bond of my youth, when he spoke you had to listen, a very funny man in all his interviews and then there was The Cannonball Run movie, what an actor.

Yes, he was my Bond too. Highly regarded off screen as well.

My favourite Bond also loved his acting skills and came across as a proper gentleman and the Ladies certainly loved him!! Going to be a big loss. I watched the Man with the Golden Gun on Sunday and just his wit is class! When he's just about to jump the bridge in that famous scene and the sheriff says your not thinking what am thinking booooya and turns around and says I suuuuure am booooya!!!! Excellent stuff

Proper gent and a wicked sense of humour, always liked his James Bond portrayal.

one of the benefits of age got to watch the Saint, first time round in the '60s! And Ivanhoe!
I was a fan of the Persuaders too -tho' obviously both Roger and Tony Curtis were exercising their sense of humour in making that show Best tv theme tune ever, even beats the Sweeney |
