Or the road to ruin. It’s £15/20k away from a show car.

Unfortunately would appear so.

I suspect the low asking price will be enough to tempt someone, or perhaps it's a parts car.

I need to stop looking at this...
Got a loft full of parts that needs emptying, its practically down the road and its £400. And i feel sorry for it being sneered at by all those new ones.

Reg is 233 away from my dads old 90 quattro (G300 JUG), its the usual spec earlier car with the better sports seats and looks like it got the electric windows all round too.

At that price its a mass of spare parts for someone, if the rear reflector is intact thats worth a couple of hundred itself.

Yet another West Yorkshire registration I had a few VW demos at Massingberd that were "JUG"

MOT history doesn't look too bad either...."corrosion to boot floor but not in a prescribed area" is maybe just the tested covering their arse and trying to mention something on a 30 year old car!?…...it's had rusty springs for the past few years too, woopie doo!
Clearly the milometer has stopped working but not a great surprise.

Would be good to hear what the "pre MOT" brought to light?

Looks a great project for the money.

The old owner might want buy it back after running around in a Q3 ??
