The 80's wouldn't be the 80's without this classic film and soundtrack.

A scottish buddy at the time introduced me to this band. Naturally

Default Flashback Friday VII (i)

Thirty Five, yes 35, years ago this week this track hit the top of the UK singles chart, taking over from Pink Floyds 'Another Brick in the Wall' which had been the best seller for several weeks, making this the first new UK number 1 single of the 80s and what a 'special, so special' one it is too!
Horny lead singer...Give it to me!!

Love him or hate him, belter of a song, and the way that SRV lights the song up on guitar, and darkens it at the same time is just mastery. Bowie, China girl.

No doubt The Wall is a classic but can't say it's a particular favourite of mine

SRV what's that I thought, Sports Recreational Vehicle? One google check later I felt a bit foolish when it told me Stevie Ray Vaughan

Had to look AFAIK up as well!

No worries at all.You share the funk passion with me so by me. But my music taste is fairly wide except i cannot stand heavy metal.

Here's one for you from one of my favorite bands ever! Yellow.... I think Boris in this song is John.... wooing.... Leggy. I hope they come across this. The imaginary Leggy for this purpose looks very tasty. Just bought the album today coming from Holand. If you have a great hifi system this album will blow your mind. These guys are masters at elctronica There music is quite varied.

Visa ve Volkswagen adverts as well as Audi. German swiss genius combo of Dieter Meier and Boris. Enjoy!
