I use mine every day, G reg small bumper 8v. Helios Blue. Bought it in Decemeber to relace my white G reg small bumper 8v which was stolen/torched. That had been used daily for 4 years before, including most of my business travel! I love them. They are excellent all round cars. For me, the problem is that the stock of reasonable condition, unmolested cars is diminishing.

The car was a rep mobile but also a family car, was made from '77 in England and elsewhere, engines ranged from 1.3 - 2.3 litres although the South African market got a 3 litre. The model was "face lifted" in '79 but was still grouped as the same model?
Production stopped in 1982 and so it lost it's title as Britain's best selling car which it and the previous one's had held for 10 years
From an era when folk bought British?

I can remember when you lost your old one, didn't realise it'd been replaced.....get pics up lad!
