Why is it that all early 20v quattros came with non sports seats but electric windows all round ? mines a 91 on a j plate, cast manifold, non sports seats (since upgraded to sports seats), manual sunroof (since upgraded to electric), plastic steering wheel and gear know gaiter (upgraded to leather) and electric windows all round.
Nice car and in that condition got to be worth the money, back in the day these cars cost £22k new and in 89 that was a lot of money.

Default Bye Bye B3

well, that's the end of a wonderfully fun (and expensive!) era for me. gene is making his way down south with his enthusiastic and infectiously cheerful new owner, ian who assures me that he'll be using this forum when he gets home.
they are on their way down to sussex via shrewsbury so if any of you see them en route, then give them a wave or a blast of the horn.

i don't think i've ever felt sad selling a car before!!!

anyway, some photos (of course!) ..

bon voyage chaps!!

Sooooo....I'm Gene's new owner. Proper intros tomorrow when im at a proper computer :-) Unfortunately the 90 wasn't ready to leave Scotland just yet, which is why I'm typing this from a train just pulling into Euston :-0.

Sweepstake on how far we got before we....erm.....stopped......? bonus points for the problem
