those amg alloys, saladeater, looked good to me! have looked at them before as they look kind of like giant aeros and they will hide the tiny, tiny, discs pretty well. centre bore is a bit big iirc. just make sure yer nuts are tight.!

You can get spigot rings to sort that, not a problem.

ive seen somewhere on the web a 44 running these amg merc rime, they look very very cool, im in 2 minds though as i really like BBS rims, the ones above are from a bmw E36 328i sport - i need to check offset/CB etc etc

944 S2 wheels are nice also but i dont know about offset etc

i like these as well

probably whats on it already

boring i know, i just can't help it..

i'd use other wheels if i could find them, (like RS2 type looking porschey wheels maybe) most others just look guff to me.

is it your car?

random edit.. that car wasn't a silver car by the way, it was a glacier metallic with a rather hasty respray, looked good though, just remembered that.. i wonder if its been crushed by now..

thats what i think, give me a golf/s2/s4/bmw/merc/porsche and i can find wheels that suit quickly but the type 44 is hard....im still not convinced by my choice up there ^^^

it is hard for some reason..! something to do with the shape of the car i think. can't put my finger on it. wheels with sharp edges anywhere on them seem to make the type 44 look a bit flimsy or something.. i can't work it out.

i love the bbs style deep dish rims but unless its slammed i think it will look wrong?

i do like the fifteen52 snowflakes which im tempted to by but again, its a chance

look great here

closest to a type 44

The closest i found to originals but bigger are the merc AMG wheels from a merc e class

thats half the problem, arch clearance, drop it a bit, one thing seems to lead to another, 'while i'm at it.. i'll do..' bushes/top mounts, before you know it you've spent more than the car if worth! i couldn't drive a lowered car around here due to the bad roads.

i've been looking for wheels for three years.. no joy as yet!

google images 'audi 100' not much use either, mostly aeros and v8 bbs rims, which i would use! after having to cut the wings to bits, bugger the rust protection, five years time, half a car left..
