Default 5cylinder 20v engine

hi guyz i needs some help, iv recently purchased a 5 cylinder 20v engine from 1 of these engine importers the engine seems good but i dont know if its a 7A or NM engine/ 2.0lt or 2.3lt engine i can't seem 2 find the engine code number any were on the block is there any other way is differentiate the two engine??? please help

Should be on a plate on the left side (same side as dipstick) between just below cylinder head between cyl 2, 3

Have you checked the head? (if its the same as 20vt)

That's seems a little flawed.
Basically, in refurbing the engine, replacing the head removes/changes the identity?
