2bar boost reading and odd fuel gauge behaviour.

I’ve a curious fault with the Ur since its return from restoration and I’ve spent several hours going through wiring diagrams and the car to no avail.

The core symptom is -

With ignition switch live, boost gauge reads 2bar and fuel gauge reads about 6 gallons low.

With the ignition switch dead (key on but immobilised) it is fine.

With ECU disconnected, it’s fine.

Car runs fine in every other respect.

Has anyone experienced similar or knows any pointers?

All thoughts greatfully received.

Sounds like the sort of problem you sometimes get with a faulty earth.

Thinking same thing.
Since its all been apart its likely somethings not connected or contacting when it should.

Haven’t you also just had a new alarm system installed? But I’d certainly be looking at earthing issues.

Thanks for the replies so far.��
The alarm is new but was fitted after the fault materialised it would appear. There was a bit of a panic that the car was very low on fuel before it was MOT'd and that was before the alarm was fitted. It subsequently turns out that the car only took 10 gallons to brim the tank, not 20.
