Depending where you are s2rob, but there is a good rechroming firm in Alton - http://www.beckworth.net/ Silvabronze. They have a good reputation and they've done mine. Competitively priced as well

Seriously £1k a pair now !!!, I managed to pick up a new (spare) pair on ebay in 2017 for £165 delivered, better than money in the bank, the S2 elipsoids seem to be going in the same direction also.
No not selling them sorry. |

Ha! Yes, it’s pretty weird because it’s only the reflectors that need doing.

Should cost no more than £200-300 to have 4 reflectors re-chromed. I've taken my apart my spare set ready to send off

I hadn't realised Dual were charging that much now, though I can't actually remember how long it is since mine were done, nor the cost.
Keep in mind that headlamp reflectors are generally not chromed, it's usually a thing I believe is called "aluminium vapour deposition". I had a pair of headlamps chromed, unfortunately my plater can't "throw" the plate far into the headlamp bowl shape so they have a bit of a yellow tint to them where the plated coat below is showing through. Good enough, but not as perfect as I'd like. But also much cheaper. |
