The mechanics of old bikes is great I think, whilst a part does it's job it's also usually a work of art!
Tyres look like Avon Roadriders, nowt wrong with using modern design tyres in classic profile if you want to enjoy riding the bike although I'll admit classic tyres look better on older machines, would probably have been a speedmaster on the front and something like an SM on the rear back in the 60's when it was new.

It'll handle much better on the roadriders though.

Beautiful bike and superb restoration, liking the halogen headlamp bulb, looks like its going to be used day and night.
