This is another problem with facebook.
Literally anybody can make car group page on there and you find yourself joining so many of then, all with similar names or similar types of cars you are interested in. But you are ALL then left wondering which one is the best one?

Its a case of 10 a penny and there is no content on them like you get on forums. All you get is a post in a time line and in the end you join up to so many of them that they don't give you any real community benefit at all.

Why people ever saw facebook as the place to go for car stuff is beyond me. I guess some people see these forums as old-hat maybe? But facebook is not the place to be building a car community. Advertising it, yes. But not hosting it.

Its time for a Forum resurrection.

Facebook is a dumbster fire for car enthusiasts and it's all to easy to get burned.
To be fair, there has been more than one instance of people being ripped off on here and other well known Audi forums by more than one person who were thought of as a friend, myself included.
At least one of those manipulative/lying/thieving sorts has re-appeared on Facebook in recent times.

I’m happy to tender my resignation as a moderator should you wish, but there’s a lot to fix before normality is resumed.... And replying to the moderator forum first might help stabilise things.

Just a thought, as it were...
Your dedication to the cause is greatly appreciated.

Maybe it would be an idea if Coxy gave you and some other committed members some Administrator privileges ?

There needs to be someone with these powers who has more time to keep on top of everything here.
