It's been on a few times! The only thing that puts me off is the hole which has been cut out for the lpg conversion.

starting new job soon so might be able to afford one...

Keep the 80CL as daily driver with 2.0 16V (it was my first car so don'twant to track day it) and get an 90 or 80 quattro as track day car (I have the roll cage already...)

Sounds like a good plan!! And the 80CL as a daily sounds like a winner to me!!

If I didn't have to carry the mutt to and from work everyday, I'd be using my 80CD as a daily.
Instead, I just about squeeze her in the back of a T25!!

I have the purpleturtlelovevan as my normal daily as I have been doing property maintenance for past few months.

But I'm going back into office based engineering consultancy next week, so I'll be using the 80CL from then. At the moment completely standard, 1.6 4 speed with Weber, but it goes quick enough!

As time goes on if the work goes OK I may get an 80 TDI as I'll be doing 90 miles a day.
