sorry every body all wrong again lol, the car pictured is 1987 car 10 valve, i also saw a avant 10v for sale in britain last year with these arches, the easiest way to tell if its pre 20valve model. is by lookin at the door handles, the one pictured has the older door handles there for its pre 88 . the model im am talking about was done as a special edtion and yes there was not many, it was done by abt sportsline tuning but, they are out there, and 20valves and v8 s did have them as standard your right there,

Whoops, didn't spot the sticky out handles. It is of course LHD and being an ABT Sportsline version wasn't a stock model released by Audi. It looks like the rear arches on that one are the hand rolled ones rather than stock rear wings. There are undoubtedly type 44s with flared arches in the UK (somewhere) but they are customised. Audi themselves never sold them with flared arches in RHD over here. What they sold in Europe and the US is a different story. There are plenty of photos on the web of type44s with custom rolled rear arches with custom or OEM flared front wings. Here's another example of an ABT modified Avant. Note the rear wheel arches aren't OEM, most likely hand rolled.

Audi did make a special version of the 200 prior to the facelift with flush handles, called the Exklusiv which had flared wheel arches though not the OEM 20v arches which came later and only in LHD.

Hi,

I own a 1989 200 Turbo Quattro and I want to put it for sale, after it has passed the NCT (in 2 weeks).
It has 129K Miles on it and is in excellent condition.

If you are interested, please let me know.

Regards,

Kim.
