Default The second storm

Is anybody getting a battering from the second storm ? It's been hitting here quite hard since the early hours.

Checked the fences, I did some structural engineering on them the other weekend to give them a sporting chance. All good... Next door neighbour greenhouse has wobbled and lost a couple of window panes.. Took the dog for a walk along the shoreline at high tide (1311 here). Waves making it to the promenade... Got drenched, hair like a punk rocker after a gallon of vodka... Otherwise all OK...

A bit breezy here by nothing we haven't experienced before.
Hope everyone else comes out unscathed.

Our dog went 'garden' just now, wind up the Collie kilt, skiddadled about the garden then the heavens opened... It went from dry, to torrential in about ten seconds... The back door was pushed to, and was nearly knocked off its hinges as the canine equivalent of a cruse missile came through the back door...

As a Scottish Southern Uplands farm Collie, it's become a right southern softy in her old age....

Oh how wrong can you be.....

Seaford is locally known as 'the arsehole' because its not only shite, it's also always windy.... In the 'blustery day' in Oct 87 the lamp posts on the south-westerly exposed station actually bent... It is, without doubt, one of the most deprived, desolate seaside dumps in the UK where the litter is always south westerly gale turbocharged. If she's happy to live there, annoying you on a breezy evening will be childs play.... The revenge will be all hers....

It's good to see that Classic Audi humour is alive and well.
