Undoubtedly there will be some speculators out there convinced that it will go up in value and that they will make a profit. As all classic car owners know generally unless it is extremely rare, concours or has a competition history any gradual appreciation in value will be offset (and more) by the maintenance, storage, etc., etc.

This car is undoubtedly unique (apart from the other one) but is no where near concours and technically wrong in so many aspects that I will be very surprised if it goes up in value. That it has an interesting recent history might be sufficient to give it greater value than another quattro but I'd rather drive round in a rally recreation if its heads you want to turn.

Why muppets?

I think you would be quite surprised!

One man's shed is another man's errrr shed!

Ashes to Ashes was great entertainment, great one liners from Gene a fit bird
and the fabulous quattro.

Not surprised the bidding is going daft as predicted by others.

I hope it's saved by someone here anyway.

Fire up the quattro - even if it's not going to.
