Default Alloys suitable?

There is a set of alloys for sale locally and I am wondering whether they would suit my type 85 coupe quattro?

Deepdish 7Jx15"H2, 4x100. with 12 spokes

These are 15" drift alloys with 4 studs

Unfortunately not the PCD for a Coupe Quattro is 4x108 and not 4x100.

Generally this style does look pretty good on Coupes, if you've got the correct PCD.

I know it'll be frowned upon but you can use wobble bolts up to 2mm either way + or - from the correct PCD so as 108mm is within this tolerance from 100mm you should be ok.
Some say they're ok (usually those who've fitted them.)
Some say they're not (usually those that haven't fitted them.)
Do some research.

The difference between 4x100 and 4x108 is 8mm! So wobble bolts won't work.

I you really want those wheels then you may have the option of changing the front hubs for those from a 4x100 car and changing the rear drums for those from a 4x100 car. I haven't actually done this, its just a thought.

I've got some 17" alloys for sale with tyres that I had on my CQ before selling it on. Have a look on the pics in my profile, they sound large but they don't look crazy and IMO they worked really well, oh that and they didn't rub wheelarches or anything like that so a bonus

Let me know if you're keen. I'm heading up midlands way on the weekend if Plymouth's too far for you.

Except you're in Ireland so it makes no difference if I take the wheels to the Midlands or not! lol
