I think that's a little unfair, it's not the mappers fault if the car isn't ready or has running problems

I can understand the issue that people have mapping these cars now, as 90% of the time there are issues with the car - e.g. sensor faults, boost leaks, damaged / defective parts, incomplete set-up etc. MRC for example, quote £1000 to map an S2 now as they know they will spend at least half a day sorting out problems before they can even start to map it, if they even can! I've got nowt against Motec, but its swings & roundabouts. IMHO The only downside to Motronic on a road car is the limited expertise available to map it

I do not have to go back to Mark as he has set it up that whatever boost I set the controller too the Motronic just fuels accordingly up until the MAF is saturated at about 470bhp (which luckily is the max this turbo will produce). The eboost2 is very versatile and am now running (after a play today) two 'maps' at the moment a normal standard one and very rapid one at the flick of a switch

Oh and seeing as the cars a lifer it doesn't matter what the ecu value is (and yes it could be turned back in 30 mins, but why would I do that).... Have a look at the eboost2 spec. DJones on S2 forum runs pretty much the same spec as mine (except his is an ABY) and has no issues

As above , be spot on for me once exhaust and ign uprated/modified. Hope to get exhaust sorted march time. Already had a run in with a new m5. Kept up with me.....
