I hear what you're saying but the low mileage/condition must count for something.

There'll be someone out there that would buy at 2k.......lower the price and the interest might increase but it might not necessarily go to a good/enthusiast home?
It's priced at the enthusiast. |

Yes very nice car John in a nice modern colour, I don't want to put this over incorrectly but this cars even at low mileage just don't make me want to buy it, this car 10 years ago with low mileage or not would have been £500 or less because no one wanted them, now that cars for the 80's-90's may becoming cool everyone thinks their value has gone up, look at it this way the advert in my mind reads: -
1991 Audi 80. 30k miles full history. Retro classic no one loved it enough to drive it. Sorry to all I know I may get stick for this but you can see what I am saying. How lonely for an old car sitting in a drive or garage with the years passing by, serviced and ready to go for a drive and only going down to the shops twice a week, under 23miles a week going by age and mileage, I feel sorry for the old car, it need a name and a good drive on a nice sunny day. |

I hear you Colin, and if it was a Golf 1.8 it would be £ots more!
It's a limited market place for this, with a very small audience. It is a nice looking car for it's age though. |

John if it was a diesel and £1000 less it would be mine even with 150k miles on the clock.
