Question B2 coupe quattro value?

Not looking to sell mine or anything, and yes I know everything is worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it, but does anybody have a rough idea of b2 coupe quattro values?

Say like ranging from moted but rough examples to middle of the road examples and very clean examples?

Just need an idea for my insurance value, but can't find many for sale at the moment to get an idea?

Is there a site maybe with these values?

This months Practical Classics has a price guide.
Coupe GT B2 - Concours £5,000 - 1 £3750 - 2 £1900 - 3 £800

However, no quattro on the list so I recon you can add at least £1k to the above.

Take their guide with a pinch of salt. They say a S2 condition 3 is £3500. I wish!

Well, I've been watching prices for a couple of years and you would be lucky to get a good project car for less than £5k. Engines alone go for £2.5k.

There's prices and there's what it's worth? There's what it's worth and there's what someone is prepared to pay?
Then there's what is available. Gaz, I couldn't find any B2 CQs' for sale?!

9 UR Quattros' on Car and Classic though?

Strange times regarding classics for sale, are they going to be unwanted in the future, are folks thinking petrol/diesel will be unavailable for sale ????? Will they just be ornaments!?
I think not personally, I really hope not.

My old CQ (which Andy now has), is a concours example. He got offered 15k and said no! A perfect one I can imagine to be at least 10k nowadays.

A good GT is 3-4k, up to about 6k for a really good one.

Lol.. well, i insured mine for 5k in the end. Dunno if that's too little or too much?
I guess the ur is becoming like unitainium these days.. so cq and GT prices are on the up.

Funny how neither of us could find any cq's for sale . Once apone a time they were selling for £700 with an MOT and were easy to find on ebay/auto trader etc.

I can see why these older cars, even base model 205"s etc are becoming more valuable. Modern cars are getting to be dull as dish water to drive.

I borrowed a golf 06 diesel the other day and it was so boring. Didn't feel inspiring to drive and giving it some welly gave no enjoyment what so ever!.. it just reminded me of that feeling of being taken home in a taxi after a night out. All the fun is over and you're going home alone! Lol

No wonder many people aren't interested in cars anymore. Many feel like little more than self drive public transport.
