As it's in the same area the Mercedes Museum is also well worth a look.

We pitched up outside the BMW Museum on a Monday......closed all day

Trip to Ingoldstadt is on my "bucket list".
One of our members is organizing it and as he's German and has lots of contacts its not a difficult job for him, will organize hotels at each stop and chat to the Audi people about our intended trip. Presently 6 of us going but hope for between 10-15 once we have prodded a few more people
