Exclamation Audi 80 B3 brake upgrade problem!

Hi! Yesterday i tried the brake upgrade but no sucess!

The Audi 80 is B3 from 1989 and uses single disc 256mm.

Brakes upgrade:

Corrado G60/ S2 calipers + audi coupe 2.2 20v quattro discs vented (276mm 4 studs).

The problem is the disc crash into the "arm" (spindle carrier)

Here you have some pics of the calipers and the arm

I think i need to change the "arm"..

Waiting for help!

Kind regards,

Mário

I don t know.. I m not sure even if it is from a Coupe, but i have here the box and info disc. I think is from a coupe 2.3 20v between 1990 and 1991.

When i bought i saw the list and searched by diameter and holes. And seams to be all the same. All 276mm have the same dimentions..

Delphi ref. BG2748

Overall Height = 56.2mmVented Mountings 4
Discs diameter 276mm
Discs thickness 24.9mm
Overall height 56.2mm
Centre diameter 68mm
Minimum thickness 23mm

you may need the front discs from a 90 b3 shape or the whole front brake set up which has twin piston
capilers

Hi!

Anyone knows if the spindle carrier of the B4 tdi is the same as mine (B3)?

If it was a B4 these brake upgrade would feet?

I use these link to see the disc dimensions..and with the V6 disc i will have the same problem.. the overall is 56.2mm

Hi Sam! The problem is not the calipers, neither the discs.. The problem is the spindle carrier. The B4 have diferent disc offset. I think if i have a B4 it would fit perfect.

The disc i have is the same as audi 90 quattro 20v. (276mm vented )

Anyone can show me the spindle carriers of a B4 TDI (with vented discs) or Coupé 2.3E 20v, or Audi 90 quattro 20v.

I need to know the diferences between the spindle carriers of B4 and mine B3.

Any info wellcome!
