Make of wheel?
Just wondered if anyone could shed light on the make of the wheels on my cq. (Yep, too lazy to take the wheels off at the moment as the car is being pushed around a yard whilst the engine and bodywork are being 'refreshed'). I do have the original wheels as well but can't decide which set to use. One will probably have winter tyres on and the other some kind of track abuse tyres. Either way I'm going to have to get them all refurbished at some point in the future. And on that note I best bugger off because I'm meant to be searching for parts.

Yes, there are a few versions with different ETs. Yours look like ET37 from the Coupe.

Ok so the update is...
The 'original' wheels (pic below) that were supplied with the car from the previous owner are the as expected multispoke alloys commonly seen on coupes. They are marked as Audi and show as 6J14H2 ET45. The Speedline SL359's(shown at the start of the thread) are stamped/marked 7J15H2 ET45. Would you think that this means the coupe quattro wore ET45's as standard as opposed to ET37's ? |
