I had something similar but a lot worse on a c4 a few years back,turned out the splines of the spindle were worn out

had similar on my s4 , worn spline/spindle, it helped a little to bend the wiper arm a tad to keep it on the screen , got a good replacement form james , sorted it

And a little check to ensure that the wiper blade is the correct angle to the screen. It may even need a small tweak of the arm.

However- best guess if the situation is localised to one position, is some interference in the rotating bits there.

I 2nd quattrokid's suggestions.
1. Fit aero wipers, just done on the coupe, best thing ever.
2. Get rainx glass cleaner and screen wash, I clean the screen every couple of weeks, and the screen wash just tops the effect back up every time you use it.

the aero blades are brand new, kommandant but in reality were cheap shyte from ebay that don't work! i can remember medallion man talking about this rainX stuff so i'll maybe get some decent aero blades and the rainX stuff and see how that goes . . many thanks!!

Get the Bosch Aero Twin retro fit ones, 3 blades for the coupe cost me £27. Can't go wrong with that
