Get your spanners out because this is the deadline to get your unfinished project on the road.. Is anyone doing anything?

I 'drive it day' 2 days a week in the cq, so it won't really be a novelty for me

If I might ask the question/s...
Who decided on the date? or is this an annual CA thing?
Not that it will be a novelty for me either as mines a daily, just curious.

I think you'll find this is a "National" event and supposedly all old cars will have the cobwebs dusted off them and take to the road to mini gatherings around the country.

Nothing especially to do with Classic Audi, but no reason not to get the old bangers out on the road....and apologies to those whose cars are a "bit more" than old bangers.

Thanks Flying Frank ...
Funny how I've heard of 'Car Free Day' but not 'Drive it Day',

Yep.. it's a national thing that's been going for a good few years. Most car clubs try to do something... Google and you shall find. I do know that 'Classic Car Weekly' tend to ask for pics of owners and cars and print a big spread of shots. . Bit it's just a fun day of driving for thise cars that don't get used every day. And a smug but fun day for thise that do. :-)
