Default 20v 7a Bag of snakes HEATSHIELD

Morning

Need one of these for a planned upgrade to E-Lad.

I can get them from the Fatherland but one locally would be great.

It’ll be getting ceramic coated so if it’s slightly scruffy (but not bent/bashed) that’ll be fine

Thanks!

Yes, doing that, an ABS retrofit, fitting my faster steering rack, bilsteins, the 20v brakes and B4 front end.

Oh yes and the all important front speaker upgrade

Fitting Abs is an interesting one, if it wasn't for my obsession with having all the switches I would have investigated possibly stripping mine out, it can be a right pain in the arse!!!!

Good luck

Thanks

I did the ABS retrofit to my Cortina, that was, in no way designed for it and a lot of which had to be manufactured from scratch.
The 90 it was an option on and it’s easy.
The 7a is straightforward as well and will all look ‘factory’ when done.

I just fancy a bit more grunt.

The loves also been enhanced by the fact that a number of walkers going past the house have ignored my neighbours £106k Range Rover and £35k Porsche that it’s usually next to and have been all over E-Lad. Time to up my game.

yep to drive something as rare and obscure as a 30 year old Audi, 90 or otherwise, you have to spend a lot more than £100K!

Can see the appeal of more grunt, the KV is a lovely engine but in terms of turn-of-speed, these days even a Fiesta Zetec has the measure of you!

Not to hi-jack your parts wanted thread but whats the thinking behind the B4 front end? Is it because of the deeper bumpers and wider arches etc? Its a bone of contention but I think the original B3 design is a lot prettier and more dynamic? When my first 90 died I almost bought an 80 avant to put the 90 front end on, rear panel etc! Personal preference I guess

Sorry just meant B4 front end suspension (split struts, the later ARB links to go with the thicker ARB)

The exterior is done, won’t be changing a thing there.
