Default Dublogic 2017 in Suffolk and JMR

We've had a cracking day supporting John's shop (John Mitchell Racing) at Dublogic, Debenham Hall, Suffolk... After a fiendishly early start we took a convoy of cars including 2xquattros, a TT, 4 Corrados, one with 440bhp 4wd, A couple of golfs, one a stunning Rallye and an S3. The convoy behaved, mainly, on the way up... Just a little bit of fireworks in the Dartford tunnel by the Rally Car and some spirited flypasts...

Here's the photos...

Not only did JMR win the best trade stand display, these two also won awards...

Here's Chris accepting his award with his 20v RR with 350bhp

Thanks folk, yes, we had a lovely day, the run up from here is around 2 and a half hours, give or take, and that's about enough in the rally Quattro without ear defenders...

The day was hot and dry, with sunburn an easy option.

It was really nice for Chris to pick up an award for his RR20v, more than deserved, as he's spent a fortune on invisible and subtle power, plus brake upgrades on already a lovely car, it was photographed a lot as well...

Looks like a good show and not your usual 'boom, boom, in yer face' Dub (I hate that moniker) meet
Nice cross section of older and newer metal in the photos Isimmo.
I'm particularly liking the tastefully done VW K70, the subtly lowered 100 and the VW Karmann Ghia TC, a rare beast indeed

On the way up, about 2miles before we got there, a 'random' chap stood in the middle of a field with a huge camera popped up and took photos of the convoy...

Subsequently this has appeared on the Web!
