Default Gear box part identification

Hi,
had my Audi Cabriolet in at the garage and discovered an oil leak from the auto gearbox.
Can anybody tell me what the part is pointed to by the arrows in the photo. It seems to be an electrical sensor or something similar put this part is the source of my oil leak.
I can't find the part on any of the sites.

thanks
jeff

Hi,
thanks for your help, yes looked at the diagram and it's not present, this part is on the rear of the gear box just above the bottom cover with the hole facing slightly down. The link you gave me does show the point where the part would be but no component is specified.
thanks
jeff

Default Highlighted position of sensor on blow-up diagram

Hi,
enclosed a screen snapshot of the gearbox from the site mentioned, I have highlighted where the sensor is positioned by the wto arrows but is not mentioned on the diagram.

thanks

I think that's the wiring loom into the valve body. If that's the case then you need to remove the gearbox oil pan and replace the o-ring (item 20 in the lower picture). If the connector is damaged in any way then this could cause the leak, but hopefully its just an o-ring.
