Question urquattro fog lights alternatives?

As the urquattro fog lights are very difficult to find i was wondering if i could use a VAG-alternative.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm thinking about passat fog lights such as these:

I have a feeling the angled glass makes them difficult to substitute. I've just managed to source a replacement fog light for mine and bugger me it cost north of £75 but, it was new old stock in the original box and clearly had never been fitted (and actually still isn't fitted!)

You can't unless you fit flat glass ones that look wrong ... You will have to bite the bullet if you want them looking correct

I've read somewhere (quattro forum?) the lenses are the same as a Porsche item (sorry, don't know which one) but you have to unstick it from the plastic bit and fit it to the cq bit.
If I find it I'll update on this thread.

If the attempters chosen adhesive for this task is superglue and glass is a dangerous substance in their hands then its fair to assume they have already lost an eye in the removal of the rusty screws securing the lamp to the car so won't need the lamps anyhow.

Just buy a Hyundai and fire up the playstation.
