Default Ur exhaust manifold

As per the title.
Im looking for an Ur exhaust manifold, dosent matter if its cracked, or cracked in half.
I only want it to check the feasability of fabricating a better item, hopefully so that owners dont have to worry about the stock item getting cracked and one that gives a big improvement over the stock item.
Basically i want to produce an item that dosent vent boost primarily from the end cylinders, interfere with exhaust pulses and whilst retaining stock fitment for the wastegate.
I used to have a 5T version donkeys years ago but it got chucked out years and years ago- yep you guessed it, i could kick myself now.

Let me know if you can help.

Thats a work of art! Thanks for that link sir!

Basic idea is similar and as has been done there, eliminate the end venting wategate arrangement.
Think id make mine with a single piece manifold flange tho....will wait and see how much room i have to fit it all in and what the parts end up costing me..

AM Cars also appear to have produced a tubular manifold, but not sure if it's a sale item or not.
I've had both the Dailynx manifold and Audi items on mine and am now back on the Audi item after the Dailynx manifold pulled the bolts out of the head resulting in both head and manifold having to be renewed.
I'm sure a lot of people will be following your progress with interest, good luck with it.

Sorry to hear of your problems there Gordon.
Was the head not saveable at all?
Perfectly possible to recoil them or if theyre too far gone for that to tig weld the holes up and re do them that way. I could possibly repair it if you ever got stuck, just chuck a few photos my way and ill have a look.

Manifold presents a few issues due to its proximity to everything else, so any efforts have to keep the stock fitment positions and cater for improvements.
Ive just found some more photos of that tubular manifold and its been made the same as the stoc item, venting manily from the 5th cylinder- bad idea. I want my design to totally remove that feature and vent all the cylinders. Not easy but i think do-able.

Heres a prototype exhaust manifold i built for a celica turbo.

And an intake plenum for the same vehicle.

Did all the welding and powdercoating myself cos im like that...

whereabouts you located in the country? Is it West Mids?
Do you have a business or is it all for your own perversions?

Some nice work there, looks gorgeous in fact. I'm afraid I don't have the head any more nor the exhaust that came off it, maybe I should have kept them!!
