1995 Audi RS2 370bhp Noggy Blue- **Has Been Sold**

Time to let her go.

1995 Audi RS2 in the best colour Nogaro Blue (or RS Blau for the Porsche aficionado's out there).
The car has been meticulously maintained whilst in our care as well as before we had it.
The car has just had a full service, including the changing of the timing belt (for piece of mind for the new owner). Also, we have replaced the top mounts with new OEM items.
In the last 1000 miles we have also had the front discs renewed with genuine Porsche 993 turbo items, as well as brake pads all round. The rear discs were also replaced last year (less than 3,000 miles ago). Please don't ask how much as it still hurts my pocket now!
The car comes with 11 months MOT, but is currently SORN'd. Can tax at cost for new owner.
The car is fitted with a Cat 2 Cobra alarm/immobilizer and the door locks work off the fob.

The car also comes with a fully stamped dealer service history from day 1 till 2006 and then receipts for servicing by UK independent Audi specialists until the present day.

The car was taken off the road September 2007 and put in to storage until May 2009 where it has a full service prior to it going up for sale.

The car has had several upgrades all of which enhance the performance and handling of this car:

The car is fitted with fully adjustable H&R suspension (set at 40mm drop).
front brakes are 330mm Porsche 993 Turbo (cross drilled & vented discs and 4 pot calipers)
The car was chipped/tuned by Oettinger whilst it was over in Germany and before we had it and performance was upped to 370BHP.
The car has also been fitted with 18" Porsche Speedline reps.
Tyres are pretty much new all round. At a cost of around £200 per corner!!

The car came fully specced up from new being owned originally owned by an Audi director.
The car has full carbon fibre inserts, full black leather interior, with heated leather recaro's, sunroof, roof bars, air con, and all the usual extra's.

Bodywork:-
The car has just done over 100,000 miles so don't turn up expecting to see one in perfect condition. You will find stone chips on the bonnet and a few minor dinks here and there.
To be honest, if I went to look at an RS2 and it didn't have any stone chips on it, alarm bells would start ringing!!!
That said, the paintwork is as good as you'll find as those who know me will know I'm pretty particular on how I look after my cars (for those that don't check out www.elitedetail.co.uk !). There are a couple of minor blemishes, but again for those who know me, I'm as fussy as they come when it comes to a nicely detailed car!
Interior is near immaculate, showing very little wear anywhere.
I treat the leather around every 6 months with leather treatment to keep it in near perfect condition and keep the leather supple.
The wheels were refurbed at Lap Tab in Birmingham 2 years ago, but would need refurbing to look there best again, as parts of the paint have flaked off.
I also have a set of genuine RS2 alloys which may be sold at additional cost to the new owner if required.

This car is fast, very fast. In fact, it's the fastest car I have ever driven and I have driven a lot of fast cars! With it being chipped, there is a small amount of lag before you get up to around 3k rpm, then all hell lets loose! Basically, it is possibly to be breaking every speed limit on the UK roads in under 6 seconds.
0-60 is about 4.8 seconds, most of which is turbo lag!!

If you want to test drive it, you will have to be my passenger unless you have fully comprehensive insurance which will cover any vehicle (standard or modified).
Don't worry, I'll take it easy as I like my clean license of 20 years!

The car is always dry stored and now gets seldom used. We have done about 8000 miles in the past 3 years, and probably less than 2000 in the last year.

Niggly bits:
Just so you know!
Small scuff on the front bumper, very minor but like I said, I'm fussy.
Couple of minor parking dinks on the body, again, me being fussy.
There's a tiny amount of bubbling on the rear tailgate. Common problem on 80 avants. This is very minor again and like I said, I'm being fussy!

Personally, I'd rather listed to the 5 pot 20v Turbo motor than what's on the radio anyway!
And that's about it.
It's a hard decision but ultimately, it's my wifes car and she want's something she can use on a regular basis that returns decent MPG! (or a BMW Z4 convertible!), so a part exchange is possible if you have something nice for the wife.
Or, may also part ex with a classic up to around £5-£6k plus cash so I can get the wife a boring car with the money.

I don't want it to go as I love the car. Practical as well as purposeful, but it's not my name on the log book and it's her decision!
