All electrics and brakes have been gone through and all ok.
Being a pre 1960 car, it is also MOT exempt although it's had a mechanic spend 2 days on it to get it all ok for the roads.
Just had new water pump fitted and just need to get an air filter for the Holley carb and then it's good to go.

The paint has super patina and has had 8 cans a lacquer sprayed over it to preserve it.
I'm going to clean out any loose rust in the bed and then give it a few coats of wood varnish. There are no holes in it anywhere and it's totally solid. It's just come in from Nevada.

Great ..... a practical head turner....and doubtless some awesome exhaust music to listen to as well. Enjoy!!!

Nice truck, there's a guy around here with a 50s F100 that has similar patina

Love the F100.
Was in the process of importing a SWB Apache from Illinois but my mate has just imported this from Nevada and gave me first refusal at a good mates rates price, so no hassle of importing a truck from the middle of nowhere!
