Ur seats
[/quote] does anyone know if the basic frame and padding of the seats shown from the audi coupe are the same as the leather ones in my 1985 ur quattro? ie could i get a set of coupe seats and have them re-covered in leather or are they totally different?

On the UR's, so I presume it is the same with all the coupe shells, there was a subtle change in the seat bases, which swapped the slider arm from one side to the other (outboard to inboard, or vice versa). So the seats need a little mod, or the fwd/back arm won't engage.
My UR is 1985 C reg. The seat that I bought from a QF member was from a later car. The change may roughly coincide with WR/MB changes. But being Audi, anything is likely. There have been a few URs over time with coupe/CQ seats in them. Take a look through VAGCAT, to compare parts. http://www.vagcat.com/epc/
