I'm really, and I mean, really... picky about the BM's I either love the car (say E30m3) or later one's (totally dislike), but this is early 80's BMW porn...

Love it....

I do like the early Bm's I really do and in my dream car garage I would have an early M3, they just look right.
Back in 92 i had an E plate 325i Sport 2 door which was absolutely mint with it belonging previously to a titled couple from Hereford. Had only done 50k and it even had the rechargeable torch in the glove box. I had a dirty weekend in Brighton over Mayday bank holiday in 92, some three months after buying the car, parked it on the NCP multi story near to the pier and when we got back some 6 hours later it had gone. Not far admittedly but it had gone. I had left the handbrake off and it had rolled back down the access ramp, at speed, and met up with the front of a brand new Audi 80 pushing that back onto a brand new BMW 535! behind. I was a tad pi**ed off as you can imagine but the tale does not end there. The owner of the 80 was also on a dirty weekend but not with his ' legitimate' partner or wife. This I managed to deduce over the fact he did not want me to ever ring his home number. It took me three months to get to speak with him to try and exchange details at which point I told him quite blatantly that if he did not f**k off I would ring his home number and spill the beans.
I never ever heard from him again.
