3D Printing
I have had a roll of TPU flexible material for some time now and today I had time to play around with it, on the rebuild of my Ur quattro I lost the two foam filler that sits on the wing ledge in line with the fire wall rubber seal in the engine bay, as you can see from the photos below I have a test print, it dose need a couple of tweaks to get the correct fit but in all it is very close, water proof double sided tap on order and fitted photos to follow.
It relay takes no real effort to squeeze the printed filler piece and when you release your finger pressure it springs back to the original shape. |

After a couple of tweaks it fits quite well, the other side is printing now.
