Just phoned him, he's a nice chap - said he's going to let the auction run because he's confident he'll get more. What's the point of stating the reserve at the bottom then?! Cambelt was done in 98,000 miles so that'll need doing at some point soon.

I've found this on autotrader.
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...63ba?logcode=p 2004 Passat 130 PD. Now the normal value would be £2,900 (private sale) but I've done a mytextcheck and it's a cat D...BUT it's only done 61,000 miles from new and a 2004 model. How much do you reckon it's worth? Perhaps if I could get it for £2,000 it may be worth it! |

I reckon between £1800 and £2000, and if you get it for that, then you've got a bargain!

After many messages and phonecalls, I think I've found the right one! Going to have a look at 9AM (first person to view).
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2208418979...84.m1423.l2649 Only 30 miles away. Been on the phone to the chap who's selling it and he seems like a really genuine guy. He's as fussy as me which is good and is into his old VWs! |
