Default Fishing Holiday on Isle of Skye

On holiday again, what a life, arrived on Isle of Skye on Saturday at 11am to catch the tide at one of the spots I fish, first couple of casts and right into a fish on the fly in between the seaweed, 3/4 pound Seatrout, what fun I had, the fish was more out the water than in but this is quite normal with Seatrout, net left in car along with the phone so no photos, Seatrout was returned with thanks, I had offers from an other few fish before getting the fly stuck into a 2 1/2 Seatrout, and this was fun and again in the seaweed, fish was returned again with thanks, due to the fishing spot being tidal you only get about 1 1/2 hours fishing on any tide, Sunday day of rest, Monday could only have been better if their was a £5 pound note tied to each fish.

1 1/2 pound Brown Trout in the sea on the fly, also returned.

Catch of the day 5 1/4 Salmon on a trout rod set up on No. 12 fly, 25 minuets before I landed the fish, on the backing twice, I think the fish was playing me not the other way round, again fish returned but was difficult to revive,

I did have two smaller Seatrout just over 1/2 pound, also returned

More fishy stores to follow, going over the hill pass to Applecross today to give me and the fish a rest.

Lovely fish. You lucky person!
You can't beat sea trout on the fly. Great sport.
I'm a keen fisher as well. Good sea trout fishing here in West Wales.
