This info confirms that it is a 1983 model year as stated in my earlier post. Not a 1986.
However we've seen a C plate 1985 that was a 20v before now. This car needs to be viewed before purchasing.A big risk if you dont.Phil.

Not out of the factory it wasn't a 20v in 1985, and RHD 20v turbos were never sold in the UK - but several have been converted ( so I have heard/read).

Exactly. It was a ringer.Buyers should always be careful and if unsure, take a specialist with you or dont bother.

BZZZT!

Check the VIN - it's a Type 85 (ur-quattro). Well over a hundred RHD 20Vs were sold in the UK.

I'd rather have bought the 90cd, the other 90cd for spares, a v8, a minty lada, and still have enough money for hookers and beer!

Thumbs up

Sorry guys, I lost the plot on this ....
I glanced at the ebay piccie and thought it was a type 44 , saw the shiny rear panel and thought it was light on glass ah... 200 Avant

I must pay more attention, and thanks for the couple of PMs nicely pointing out my errors !
