2.2 'KV' Audi Coupe GT 1988 in Titan Grey - 89K miles (17K in last 2y)

Scary bits: (don't be scared, I'm being honest so you know what issues this 20-year old has!)

* Crack in windscreen - I have genuine green tint/blue bar replacement, I can get fitted or can supply.
* Stone chips - average for the age, one bad one 1/3rd of way up bonnet (see image below)
* Interior - cleans up better than shown below (was in a rush to photo before light went)
* Driver's side bolster just needs polish
* Driver's seat bottom/outside bolster is out of shape but the leather's fine and I have a spare driver's seat with perfect bolster to replace it.
* Arches, windscreen surround and sunroof all good (these have rusted on previous Coupes I've owned)
* Wheels VGC with almost-new Vredesteins on
* Rear bench seat and base of passenger's seat need an upholsterer to restitch the seams - quoted £60 for this work locally but have never got round to it.
* Slight damage to driver's door where a roof tile fell on it - see picture below. I have the replacement aluminium window trim (current one is very lightly dented), and the damage has been painted in to prevent corrosion. Quoted £75 to get it filled and painted.

Taxed and tested until July 09, loads of documented servicing, MOTs, tax discs etc from the history. I believe the interior is actually from another car (previous owner had 2 on his drive...) but can't be sure of this. Car phone holder is fitted invisibly and won't leave holes when gone.

Will also throw in all my spare parts, including window motors, light clusters, all instruments, various bits of interior, driver's seat, radiator, both front windows, etc. Gearbox is a delight, very very positive action (£1K rebuild about 5 years ago, transferred it from my white one to this grey one). I've forgotten more of the work I've done than I can remember, but includes clutch, 4 brake lines, handbrake cables, wheel bearings, K&N filter, distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs, cold start valve, HT leads, NSR caliper, cork rocker-cover gasket, top mounts, discs and pads (TSR-sourced black diamond discs), Powerflex bushing all round. Koni adjustable shocks and eibach springs (40mm lowered). Got all the receipts somewhere so shouldn't be too hard to figure complete list out.

Oil etc changed 6K ago, always run on Shell Optimax.

All electrics (inc heated electric mirrors and electric windows) work, other than one bulb on the main instrument cluster.

Fitted exhaust is a limited-run original Scorpion (they only made 15 as it's a bit tight round the axle) 3.25" through with twin DTM, very loud and punchy and perfect for the famous 5-pot warble. I also have a 2.5" Scorpion system with twin straight exits which is quieter but still sounds very very nice - take your pick (or take both - will cost extra!)

I think it could do with tracking (tyre wear is fine, just feels slightly out).

Number plate and head unit/amplifier/subwoofer ARE NOT INCLUDED - all other speakers are.

Don't you have a grey Quattro?

I'd be happy with that

Well, I'm not affiliated with the seller in any way, shape or form, and I've only looked at the photos provided...

But with this limited insight, I'd suggest that, assuming the car is mechanically sound, £1200 is a pretty cheap price for a car showing very little or no symptoms of rust in the usual areas, coming with full T&T and leather...

If it's mechanically as described (and there's nothing to suggest that it isn't),

and

put simply, I think that's a steal for someone.

Like Simmo has said, the faults are almost negligible with a car of this age and I think that's a decent price as well.
Hope it goes to a good home.
the parts that come with it are worth a few quid on there own

Mechanically it's fine, no smoke, no oil usage above normal, no leaks from rocker cover, head gasket or sump, no exhaust or manifold blows, all A1. If I was going to keep it I'd regrind the valve seats and check the valve stem oil seals etc just for my own peace of mind but really doesn't need it.
