Alloy refurbishing
I'm planning to get my 1982 five stud Ronal alloys refurbished and would like to know if anyone can recommend anyone - ideally cheap and good! The current wheels have been resprayed badly (see photo); wouldn't mind having them done in the darker grey colour as used on some of the type 43 200's (see photo). Any tips greatful recieved - thanks

I know of a few up in the Midlands.
Lab tap in Brum, A1 wheels in Wolverhampton (one of the best, but at £60 a rim they ain't that cheap!) and Rainbow Polishing in Halesowen/Cradley. You might be better getting them powder coated to be honest. I'm pretty sure you should be able to find someone near you if you look in the yellow pages who can do it. There's another place near us that charges between £20 and £30 a rim for powder coating although I've got no idea who the hell they are as I've never used them. |

Where abouts young man, I am over Witney way and I had a set of 8" Ronals shot blasted and powder coated white for £100, mine were looking very rough but not to bad kerb dammaged and the shot blasting removed 95% of the sratching around the rim
