Default 80 quattro 20v avant for sale spares or repair
Seller Type : Private
Vehicle Make : Audi
Vehicle Model : 80 quattro 20v avant
Price : £650
Location : Sauchie
Additional Details : V5C (Logbook) ,MOT'd

This car was my daily driver until the very day I bought a wee van and the 80 decided not to start. It was in my driveway when it happened and that is where it has sat since. Could be a good mini S2 avant for someone with more time than me or could be stripped for the 20v parts - cams, heads, tubular manifolds etc. Car will need towing due to non starting problem.
The cars issues are that the engine is using oil on overrun possibly valve seals, rust on NSR arch/sill. Sill/arch join was repaired for MOT. There is a dent in NSF alloy, dent in sill, headlining is sagging, paint is poor. It is a non starter due to ignition switch or other ignition problem and there is a knackered top mount NSF.
Good points - S4 100 front seats, injector upgrade and recent walbro fuel pump. Brand new tyres, pads, discs all round a few months ago. Comes with spare engine and tubular manifold, spare gearbox 5cyl ratios (I did have the diff to match but it got lifted from my garden). I'll also include 1 filing cabinet worth of Audi spares. Mostly 80 or 20v small parts and the original exhaust.
Very rare car ! Worth saving or split the 20v spares.
The picture is just for illustration purposes I'll get some up to date ones if required during daylight when I get the chance.

It's great to see so much enthusiasm for the 80, Thanks guys. Too cheap ?

Within 5 minutes of posting I had a pm saying consider it sold so unless that falls through then the car is provisionally sold.

I wouldn't say it was too cheap necessarily, I'd say it was priced correctly, thats why you got interest. Still a lot of work and someone is going to have to arrange collection etc.

Unless its gone to a breaker in which case
