What is it worth?
Regret that I 'May have to sell my beloved b2 cq. My mother was diagnosed with dementia last year, and as a result she is needing more and more care.. which is taking most of my spare cash. Unfortunately this means the car has done less than 100 miles since it's last MOT.
Anyhow I won't go into details but I want what's best for the car as it deserves to be used. So basic rundown for your thoughts. D769YCK Replaced sunroof and seal. All for around screen cut out and repaired. (Old screen but new rubber from Audi Tradition). All 4x4 kit works as it should. No service history so when bought i got a local garage to do what was required Inc new cam belt and water pump. Currently wearing 2 x Sparco rally seats in date if you want to play. 2x TRS three point harnesses and a Safety Devices bolt in full roll cage. No carpet as the old one was rotten. All interior items - rear seat/trim/ front seats/ safety belts etc are stored if wanted... and hopefully they will be. Oh, pass door lock doesn't work from outside. Think it also has power locks but they don't work. 2 sets of wheels, legal on the cat and a set of originals with dubious tyres. Love my car I really do. Yes there's stuff to do on it but nothing that is scary. I've tried hard to keep it but l know it needs to be used. So, as the heading says.. what should I ask for it? Not sure whether to eBay it, classic auction it, or just sell it privately. I can't post photos on here but will take some when the weather improves. Oh.. it's white if that helps lol.. Thanks for any opinions. Jake |
